The long-awaited renovation works of the Kalurghat Bridge in Chattogram are scheduled to be completed within this month, bringing a major infrastructure upgrade to the region. “The bridge will be opened to vehicular and pedestrian traffic this month, as the renovation work is nearly finished,” said Engineer Jisan Dutta of Bangladesh Railway’s Eastern Zone.
However, the exact date for reopening will be determined by senior officials of the Railway Department, according to the engineer.
